Annual Sports Day @ B.D.M.International

B.D.M.International celebrated its Annual Sports Day on November 16, 2019 on the sprawling grounds of Gitanjali Stadium. It was a day filled with fervor and exhilaration amidst thrills and cheers. The event commenced with the welcoming and felicitation of the Chief Guest, Mr. Saurav Chakraborty, renowned table tennis player and the honorable heads of the institution. The declaration of the sports meet open, by the Chief Guest, led to the spectacular display of March Past by the Head Boy, Head Girl, Prefects, members of all the four houses and Scouts and Guides. This was followed by the oath taking ceremony and various types of drill display from the junior to the senior classes. The various races took over the sports meet and it was a delight to see the excitement with which the students challenged themselves to attempt a variety of races such as- flat race, relay race, three legged race, hurdle race, etc. The toddlers, however, participated in different types of walks which propagated environment friendly messages like- no-use of plastic, going green, to put the waste in the right place, how to maintain hygiene and more. Soon after, the Prize Distribution Ceremony followed, where the heads of the institution presented the winners with gold and silver medals. The Annual Sport Day 2019 of B.D.M.I. came to a close with the Principal’s vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem.
