BDM International hosted Velocity 2024, an Innovative Business Idea Presentation Competition on Saturday 26.10.2024, at the school auditorium. Ten reputed schools: Apeejay School, Birla High School, DPS Ruby Park, Ruby Park Public School, Bhawan’s G.K. Vidyamandir, Indus Valley World School, La Martiniere for Boys, Jyotirmoy Public School, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy and the host school, B.D.M.  International, presented their unique entrepreneurial ideas on stage. Each business idea was unique and the participants’ confident demeanour mesmerized the gathering. Smt. Soma Mitra Mukherjee, Assistant Director General, Head of Projects, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour was Sir Soumya Sarkar, Professor, XIMB Bhubaneswar. Eminent members of the jury included Smt Apeksha Lahiri – a vibrant entrepreneur and the owner of renowned brands like Yellow Turtle – Asian Dining Cafe restaurant chain, and Sri Saibal Sengupta – Director of Seacom Marine College and Sri. Harshit Chokhani – COO Of Anandpushp Pvt. Ltd., A TEDx – speaker and analyst. The much awaited moment of the day was the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Principal Ms. Madhumita Sengupta congratulated the teams for their marvellous ideas and brilliant presentations. La Martiniere for Boys was adjudged to be the Winner of Velocity 2024 B.D.M. International was declared to be the First Runner Up Team The Second Runner Up team was Indus Valley World School
