B.D.M. International was incepted on 1st May 1966 by Late Mrs. Usha Mehta, our founder principal.
Poila Boishakh marks the beginning of the Bengali New Year. Every year this auspicious day is celebrated in the month of April across the states of India. The rich culture and tradition of Bengal are also rejuvenated through the exuberant celebrations on this day.
The students of BDMI celebrated this joyous occasion with a plethora of magnificent performances in the assembly. The celebration began with a melodious presentation of ‘Aji Kon Ghore Go’, followed by a graceful dance performance on ‘Dakche Poila Boishakh’ and recitation.
The aim is to make young minds aware of the significance of the day in a creative way.
