“…… for it is not the time to MOURN, the time is to REVOLT !!” ~ Ms. Madhumita Sengupta (Principal, B.D.M. International) Crafting the salient Teacher’s Day speech, Principal Ma’am of B.D.M International ignited the spark of challenge and honor – as BDMI Alumni Association (Official) celebrated this wonderful day on 5th September, 2024. To mark this special occasion in solidarity with the present scenario, over 350 esteemed faculty members of B.D.M.I undertook the below mentioned “pledge” penned by the Principal. *We, the teachers of B.D.M. International solemnly pledge to treat all our students with respect, fairness, and equality. We will not discriminate against any student based on their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, identity, religion, disability, socioeconomic status, or any other diversity. We will strive to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all our students feel valued and supported. Moreover, we will actively promote gender equality and empower our students to respect and assert the same. We promise to guide our students to embrace and uphold the core values of humanity.* The presence of former retired teachers added value to the celebration as they were felicitated by the alumni. With an array of dance performances, live singing, audio drama, poetry recitation, song Duo, medleys, Dance Battle and distribution of tokens in games, by the teachers and ex-students, thus creating an atmosphere of joy and laughter- The Alumni Association of B.D.M.I celebrated the unwavering commitment of the Teachers as their influence indeed goes beyond the four walls of the classroom and the echo of the school bell…
